Here a auto rifle blood build example > link [nukesdragons.com]
I used to hold that, my 1xxx+ friends told me that its always been 3% and the math was redone proving that
As for the cap... I think with everything accounted for high 8x's is the most you can get
15 base + 4 team + 15 unyielding + 5 armour with +1int also + Live and Love 3 + Brain Blast (11.5?) + Drugs (+5?) + bobblehead+2 + night person (+2?) + ???
57 there and I know it isn't to hard to go higher + 2 herd mentality + various int mutations (and no negative ones) + stronger mutations when teammates have them is probably 70
can you get a anti-armor explosive two shot rifle?
I haven't tested Explosive myself, but I've heard mixed things about it. Apparently, the bonus damage is directly affected by the distance of where your aiming Vs. the target's feet, and the game calculates your damage with severe diminishing returns based on that distance, and the damage itself applies to areas "around" your initial shot.
Headshots do supposedly extremely low "bonus damage" with Explosive (the bonus provided by the ability is calculated as 20% of the "Base Attack" of the weapon, by the way), because of how far away the head is from the feet. Some people swear by Explosive weapons, but from what I've gathered from reputable YouTubers like Angry Turtle, their better off on rapid fire weapons while aiming at the torso.
If your talking about The Fixer or automatic Rifles, then Explosive should be fine, but I don't think it would work well on a Hunting Rifle or Lever Action Rifle.
Pretty much what happened was
-Legacy two shot was 100% damage x2 with accuracy loss
-Legacy explosive was 100% (and you could get 100% more from perk cards which is changed to 'only' 60% more)
-Current two shot is 62.5% x2 with accuracy loss
-Current explosive is 20% (and you can get 60% more from perk cards)
-Currently energy weapons cannot get explosive anymore, so two shot explosive telsa rifles don't exist anymore, but you can get legacy ones
-Currently the rule of thumb is all conventional ammo weapons (bullets) can have explosive
-Currently some weapons (eg. tesla) have had mods removed from the active pool, so the only way to get a gun modded (in this case with electrical traps) is to get a legacy one that someone put the mod on [and generally those mods were considered inferior and not commonly used so seeing them now is ultra rare]
You CAN trade for legacy weapons that have energy + explosive or that have the 100%/100% damage on them, but you cannot obtain them from drops or events anymore
