Gunsmith? I did search the discussion....But!

So I am really confused about HOW you level up the gunsmith. I have hit that perk card no less than 6 or 7 times. Now when I do the Tier 1 just goes like 2X, to 3X, now at 4X?
When does it move to the next tier? I am at Level 230 or so. Have intelligence ++++, which some of the posts alluded to.

You level up Gunsmith cards by combining them with Gunsmith Rank 1 cards.
Gunsmith Rank 1 + Gunsmith Rank 1 = Gunsmith Rank 2
Gunsmith Rank 2 + Gunsmith Rank 1 = Gunsmith Rank 3.

Gunsmith Rank 5 is the top.

its like every other one, and unless your getting them from perk card packs it should give you the option to raise it until its max (then the next 4 will raise a second to rank 4, the next three to rank 3... etc until you have 5 4 3 2 1 1 1 1 1 1 1 1 1.... cards) unless of course you opt not to

gunsmith + gunsmith = Gunsmith 2
gunsmith + gunsmith = Gunsmith 2

From what I can understand, 4X means 4 Stars, right? When we say rank, level, star, or tier of a card, it all means the same thing.

Gunsmith with 5 Stars filled is the maximum. You only need 5 total cards to completely max out Gunsmith.

Go to the level up menu, pick a perk card or move a perk point should be the first thing you see. Pick a perk card. From there you can select any perk cards you have previously unlocked. If you have a skill point you can use that to select the card you want, in this case Gunsmith. Then you can merge cards together to create the next tier. You can also destroy useless cards to give you points.

gunsmith goes up to 5 only and you take that on level up 5 times any more you can scrap towards legendary points for instance if you get one with the random card pack. their are others that have separate designations which can be manipulated if you do not want to go full. for instance one from each weapon perk cards designation base/expert/master which the first gives 10% so would be 30% with 3 points as apposed to 20 with a full base set which would also cost 3 points.

oh i see what he means he means he grabbed that card 6 or 7 times and under the card it is stating he has x6 copy/duplicates.

You must rank up the card after choosing the duplicates.

i use xbox controller and to upgrade the card i highlight it and press X on controller i'm unsure on what is keyboard so maybe someone here can elaborate but this is how you upgrade your cards.

Note, you cannot make two cards of the same rank. So it's impossible to have 2 Gunsmith 2 cards.

NO, it does NOT mean that. I have been leveling up and most are full. But Gunsmith, even though I have leveled up no less than 5X still has me at Tier 1 (one) Everytime I try to do some type of crafting on a gun the gunsmith perk shows a LOCK from 2 thru 5? I am just trying to understand is all.

I am on a PC and trust me I do know how to level up with a card. Like I said the gunsmith 1 CARD, now has 4X on it. It used to have 1X, then 2X, then 3X. This is where my confusion is coming from folks.....It does NOT giving me (or unlock) any gunsmith levels. ?????

It is NOT equipped anywhere? I didn't have to move any others. They just automatically equipped themselves.Intelligence has 3 Unused. How do I upload an image?
