How many CAMPS can I have?

I'm on Windows 10, new to FO76. How many CAMPs can I have? Is it limited to my character level? I'm level 7 I think.

Currently you have 2 C.A.M.P. that you can swap between at any level I believe. They plan to release more slots purchased in the Atomic Shop.

So for 1 account using all 5 characters you can have 10 camps.

exact, but the atomic shelter (free) if built is the same among the camps, or you can buy it at atomic shop and build the 'big' shelter

You can only have 2 camps. You can't have both activated at the same time. Only one or the other. If you join a world and your camp can't get placed because someone else's is already in that area. You could just activate your second built camp. It won't get rid of the other one. Unless you selected that camp and move it somewhere else.

Side note you can temporarily take over and build on numerous workshops at the same time. I wouldn't consider them "camps" but you can build a lot on them, similar to a camp spot, just session-temporary. If you ran a private world and left your PC on, you could theoretically build at allllll the workshops, if you were so committed.

Most don't have the mettle.

Two. But you can use one, the other is idle. Plus a fast travel point aka. survival tent w. subscription.

Ever since they added this feature my main base is always bugged & says locked because its to close to another base & there is no one near me. I finally junked it & moved. Made me pretty bad as it was my favorite location. I was happy with just one myself.
