Armorer and Gunsmith only in crafting build?
I have one build specific for combat/exploring and one build specific for crafting. I switch between the builds whenever I fight or craft.

For some perks it's obvious that they are only useful when crafting, for example Fix it Good, Weapon Artisan and Chemist. But how does this work with Armorer and Gunsmith? Armorer gives me better armor durabilty, but do I only need it when crafting? And what about Gunsmith? It makes my guns break slower, but only when crafting?

So can I use Armorer and Gunsmith only in my crafting build and remove them in my combat/exploring build?

Those that say they make it break slower mean that you Armor/Weapon takes less damage when in combat while you have it equipped.

Those that increase Durability only do so when equipped when Crafting/Repairing.

Armorer is a crafting perk. Don't have it equipped unless you are making stuff.

Gunsmith is a crafting perk but also makes your guns degrade slower when equipped. You can drop Gunsmith from your regular build, but your guns will break faster.

Gunsmith is a huge QoL improvement I have 1000ish improved repair kits and I still make running that a staple of my build

Yeah, even with Gunsmith, some guns break pretty damn fast. Without it....I probably wouldn't even use stuff like the laser gatlin.

What else would you use in your intslots. It's not like there are enough combat perks to fill it up
