Where to find any type of shotgun plan?

Looked it up, all of the shotguns seemingly drop from only events. Am i missing something? would make starting my shotgun only play-through abit easier

You may wanna raid Morgantown Airport interiors, there are lots of scorched with pump-action shotguns.
Should be enough to scrap them down for learning mods.


Pump-action shotgun plan can be found on the top floor of the Charleston Herald as a random weapon plan.

Combat shotgun plan can be bought from vendors:
Watoga Shopping Plaza - Sold by Brotherhood of Steel vendor bot Phoenix (player level 25+).
The Whitespring Resort: - Sold by the Brotherhood vendor.

or either found at random recipe spawn in the Savage Divide, but no specifics about it.

No specific info about double-barrel shotgun plan, BUT all of those mentioned above can also be RANDOM reward for completing wide variety of events and dailies.

Follow the quest lines. Pump-action and combat shotguns, along with assault rifles and hunting rifles, are the most common weapons in basic game play.
