You can do them all solo pretty easy
Their are two types
1 - A defend the zone one
This is the old one
You can do it solo in about 6-7 minutes generally
Every player with you in the area cuts 20 seconds off the time (x2) so having a team of 4 can drop it to 3-4 minutes to complete
Basically you
a - Fix the radio
b - Hit the comms and defend
c - Hit the other comms and defend
d - Go to the muster point
e - Kill 1-20 enemies
f - Kill the boss
and
2 - Hunt the enemy one
This is the new one
You can do it solo in about 4-7 minutes... enemy spawns can be unpredictable and some areas are large and unforgiving for this
Every player with you increases the odds of finding and killing enemies quicker... My best full team run was 2-2:30ish, they were a good team, one newbie, I barely carried them (I might have got 40% of the kills so just slightly more than a fair share) when usually I do 80%++ of the killing and work in this one
Basically you
a - Kill the first scattered enemies
b - Kill the boss group
c - disable an intercepter
d - repeat a-c
e - repeat a-c but this time B is a boss monster
Tips for this
1 -
This one isn't difficult you don't even really need to engage enemies just be a warm body at a location up until the last two parts of it where you need to kill things...
Having a good weapon is your friend
2 -
This one isn't difficult either, you should use berry mentats and run from red dot to red dot killing things quickly... stealth will not make you get elder.
When you are decrypting a thing after a boss group don't kill extra enemies just beeline the radio
Either way the melee kill only one is annoying and sucks
The poison enemy cloud on death one is also annoying and sucks, just not as much
If you are the first person in the op, wait a few minutes for the rest of your team to join. After joined, give a thumbs up, and the rest of the team will do the same if they are ready to rock.
IF you make a daily ops team, they will probably be waiting on you to start it, anyone joining the team will probably want to go right away
IF you join a daily ops team it MIGHT have already concluded and people haven't changed the team or bothered leaving
Generally I
Join a server,
If a daily ops team is going I join it, if they are in I join, if they aren't I start it. If they don't join then  I hop servers
IF no daily ops team is going, I make one, I then do some shopping / dailys, when a player joins I tend to give the 3+ teammate join up emote to let them know its good just waiting on a third (every things easier with 3 and I only wanna carry so much, unless its one of those farm tastic ones that comes up I'll do those ones solo)
You can do anything you want while waiting for the DO to be started. You just don't want to get too tied up otherwise you will make them wait.

THEN WAIT until people give thumbs up, thats the gernerally accepted :im ready to start the op: signal. this just before starting the op proper is time to pop lunch boxes eat a chem and drink/ eat to full. and enter your pa. when people start running follow.
ops objective as you know are marked on the radar. uplinks are easiest, decryption you gotta spread out and hunt the radar blips then a code carrier and then a transmitter.
till the boss code carrier and the last transmitter.
good luck. dont be THAT player that joins the op location and immediately runs off to start it while others havent even properly joined in or are getting into power armor etc...
when i start a team and then join an op and soemone does that ill just leave and change team focus to roleplay and goto a new server and try again lol. sure we could have finished that op, but thats not the point, there is a bit of etiquette when running an op. like its more important to kill the boss in time then run off to help someone who has been downed if youre on your knees respawn asap and get back in it. you stay in the timer circle in uplink.
sure wander out of it to kill an annoying mob that wont close in but get back in that circle.
thats all i can add about ops even repeating what others have added, all the tips you can get and all that...
If no one joins, join another server. Best time to do it is when dailys ops reward resets.
You can solo them, but its not recommended. You need to have very good gear and good build for it. You can manage with high defense bloodied build, no healing needed.
Here's what i do: i create a dops team
if i don't get any player after 5 min, i leave the team and make a new dops team
if again nobody joins and i really want to do dops i hop servers
oh and you will be notified someone started the thing
doesn't mean they jumped in
usually people wait for the others
UPLINK usually is easier
KERMIT91 (DAILY OPS)
However one thing can happen: A team that just finished the OP, is staying without changing the team goal to something else like "casual". In this case most of the time they will not start again. However sometimes they /i might start again, just to fill in the weekly challenges conveniently, to practice with "can be killed with a melee attack only" enemies etc. So the second last time i had such a group, I reentered the OP after having it finished, just after a new player hopped in - one time i witnessed a new player in the team starting the OP after some wait and i hopped in, several times i started doing an OP for the challenge from within a casual team, and some of the team members just joined in as well. So you could try to enter a casual/other team (politely build the bond) and then hop in an op to practice and see if people follow, if you don't want to wait for a daily op team to arrive (or start your own one). If you start a team on your own, people might think you know what you're doing, which may or may not be the case - but that needn't be a reason not to do it either...
Doable within... depends on how you know the map, and sometimes luck. E.g. in the arena we had a mutant dog sitting behind walls and after thowing flamer grenades and doing this and that it would phase through the wall, eventually (sometimes grenades do it). Cloaking enemies are harder, especially with a connection with more latency. They never uncloack in time and you never really see them, meaning that VATS won't work either. "Can only be killed with a melee attack" is more diffciult on time, because it's just slower. And finally blood eagles tend to die quick, but they have flame thrower people and a PA person sometimes. The final enemy might throw grenades around, so i tend to equip the "fire proof 2" perk with the OPs. The burning mine is the most widespread area, then perhaps the vault (and now arena) then galleria.
And no wasting time killing random mobs. Unless it's the final boss in "uplink" or the obligatory to kill ones in "decryption". Unfortunately they can push you out of enabling/disabling some transmitter or what not, so if they are nearby melee ones, one might have to take them down, before switching the device.
After joining there is a start room, where the timer is not activating, until someone leaves it. Often people use that for lunchboxes, sometimes to wait for others (sometimes "bots" seem to wait there and hope for others to finish the OP). Usually once the counter has started, it's not wise to wait for the team leader to trigger a device. If you're faster, just do it, even if you might start the device on the opposite side of where the others ran - that needs some practice or luck too then.
And finally practice also with the map. In decryption you more often have to go through different parts of the map, and find a fast way somewhere. Not sure i finished one below 8 minutes solo so far, didn't do many times, though.
like this person is so much involved in nuking, so much in farming, so much dops etc
just to give a certain idea what the player is in to
