Hi Guys im at my wits end, I bought the game and when i press play on steam, nothing happens, it shows "running" but nothing, i have tried everything :( PLEASE HELP me im pooped!

i think the window says "play game" and "check for updates" but not sure it happens so fast

Try these and see if they work
- Any background processes? Google Chrome, NXZT Cam etc. If yes then shut them down.
- reinstall DirectX

Do you get an error message when you open up the game in the game folder? If you get X3daudio1_7.dll or D3dx9_42.dll not found. Then you need legacy directx, search for it on google and download it from microsoft homepage.

could be antivirus stopping launch, disable it for a bit and test

Had this issue, though it launched successfully a couple of times. System reboot temporarily fixed it for me. Then I reinstalled, haven´t had the problem since.

I had the game installed before it went to steam, might have something to do with that?!

i regularly reinstall my Windows 10 every 1 til 2 month, newest drivers etc...
maybe now its time for your reinstall? just sayin'...

This is a long shot.I transferred a hard rived to a different PC with this game on it.When i launched the game.Nothing happened.I stumbled upon an older steam post advising people to uninstall and reinstall the steamworks common redistibutable.It worked.Probably because it was a newer Windows 10 install.Hope this helps.

Make sure if you have an integrated GPU within your CPU or an APU as well as a discrete separate GPU installed that it is using the discrete one and the drivers are somewhat current.
Make sure you meet the system requirements too.
