so i sided with knight shin at the end am curious as to the reasoning people had for siding with him also but would also like to know why people sided with Rahmani.

also does it make me evil that i specifically killed the scientists at the end by punching them to death with my bare robot fists so that they might see their peers die and know of their impending death and how it will extremely painful.

Let me use small words. BoS - No give tech for 85 years. That F1 ending - Non-canon.

To expand, the Brotherhood didn't think the NCR should have any cool toys, went to war over it and... Lost. They went to war with the only burgeoning civilisation on the West Coast to keep technology from them. That doesn't sound to me like they're happy to share. So yes. The Brotherhood hoard stuff.

Second reason, the former regiment guys who ended up joining the brotherhood seemed to have a more altruistic vision for the brotherhood that I liked and it aligned with the Paladin.

you do realise this is a military organisation having a strong grip and not allowing to give a millimetre along side being intimidating is part of the job description

Let say for example that Rahmani succeeded, in that case it would not be anymore the Brotherhood of Steel. Also she will put always in danger everyone just to protect her ass so that way the Elders don't know what she is trying to do. She clearly did not like the Brotherhood, she was trying to build her own faction.
I might not like Knight Shin as a leader, but he always tried not to provoke a mutiny against Rahmani. But she continued to screw it up.

edit: if you are an enclave's player, joining Rahmani's treason is the best decision that you can make. She would do anything not to be judged by the Elder, that way the Brotherhood of Steel can never gain control of Appalachia. Perfect to create chaos and disarray.

the west coast elders are cowards anyways. i would rather have Midwest BoS or Lyons

High Elder Roger Maxson in his last transmission to the original West Virginia BOS told them to think outside the Box and recruit outsiders. But his son and other elders disagree with him which he didn't like so he is force to drop the idea.
