How to lead and acid camp?

So theres a spot south of south mountain lookout that has an acid and a lead vein in fairly close proximity. one is in a cave at the bottom of a cliff and the other is on top of the cliff. Anyone know the spot to put my camp machine to be able to hit both extraction points?

I've never done it myself, but have friends who have had a camp in that location and witnessed many other camps there as well. Problem being it's such a popular spot that finding a world where you can place your camp is gonna be tough.

i experimentated there a long time, and paused my efforts, because its possible to get both knotes in the camp bubble but building a reasonable house with a stair constuction to both points is not possible, thnx to the stones at the topside that block all construction.

to answer your question, you need to place your camp into the cliff, there are 2 spots and small places where you manage to get both. you can see it directly when you go into camp mode and it gives you the option to build both extractors.
pain in the behind is that it much times look like the acid is in the bubble, but the engine dont think that way.
you need marsupial (best with JJ on Top) to reach the 2 possible spots with the CAMP or you first make your camp at the bottom and than make a stair construction so you can reach the ledges and repalce the CAMP than.

I managed to get both the nodes, I've got a really suspect series of platforms and stairs that's managed to fit in my workshop and radio slave.

yeah had this one side look , from top and running up and down for 14 lead and acid every half hour (more or less) would be better used for scavenging or server jumping

If you can get excavator armor, one traipse through the Lucky Hole Mine (SE of Foundation, in the mountains splitting the savage divide and the cranberry bog) will get you enough lead for quite a while. Even without the mining bonus of the excavator armor should set you up pretty well.

Acid I never really had a problem with - it's pretty plentiful already. Abraxo Cleaner, makeshift batteries, and bags of fertilizer are common and yield quite a bit, and some creatures as well, though they're tougher ones - cave crickets and snallygasters chiefly, but others drop acid regularly as well. (I mean, they leave acid behind when they die, not... you know what I mean.)

Best I've seen was a brick apartment building. He had the lead but I don't have a pic of it or the ledge he had the camp on.
