Strangler heart,T 65 or Hellcat?

you get a full set of hellcat when you complete the questline and get it's blueprint for each of it's parts. I built the t 65 because why not?

Just know skins don't work on hellcat. The headlamp on it doesn't work when a skin is on it.

This is especially important for the calibrated shocks. If you want calibrated shocks on your strangler heart, you'll need the ultracite plan, which is a ridiculously rare drop off the sbq (~0.08% or something like that) and they generally sell for above the cap limit

Basically...

Strangler Heart= if you melee while wearing power armor

T-65= Best overall stats and what I would recommend for general use but takes the longest to get

Hellcat= Possibly best for ballistic damage resistance (or at least among top 3) and only requires finishing the Steel Reign story, but lower resistances for energy and radiation if that's a concern.

I would recommend completing the Steel Reign story to get the Hellcat power armor suit, while grinding for gold bullion to make the T-65 set in the mean time. Then later on you could always start saving for the Strangler Heart set. Though, so you know, Minerva actually had a sale on those power armor sets so you could try waiting to see if they will pop up again but honestly there's no guarantee it'll happen soon.

I have t-65 and for me it works best. I have x-1, Ultracite and excavator also. Excavator is good for carry weight but since I have the t-65 I don't use the X-1 or ultracite anymore. But I am keeping them? why? Can't really sell them for much and only take 2.5lbs in stash when equipped with PA.
I carry t-65 and Excavator around all the time-I try to travel mostly in Secret Service armor.......SS Armor has better carry weight capacity than t-65 and X-1, which imho is weird. And that even with the pA perks for weight etc. All of mine are modded to the max.
Go T-65...I hardly ever have to repair it........

Don't bother with the Strangler Heart. As others have said the mods are a pain, but the bigger pain is the crafting.

It needs 180 vault steel (with power smith card) but you can only buy 5 per server. That is 36 server 'hops' just to craft.

i use t65 since i already grind it to the max buthellcat is better option for new players yet i heard that mods are quite expensive for it.
Strangler Heart is a more of a collector item

Since the Hellcat is free, dump some of that gold on the T-65. Still go for the "Cat".
Once you got it all 100% set, go for the Strangler Heart.......start collecting vault steel now if so.
