I did it and the game found 13 files now its re-downloading 40gb off steam.. 10+ hours to wait..

The funny thing was yesterday in the update i had errors in code on my latest update and it only updated 1.6gb.. the update news said it was 2.3gb? so now i'm out 10 hours because steam and or Bethesda can't even get its act together..

it's common when it comes to lagout 76 getting an update. Always missing files.

40gig is about 2-4min download.

if that is the case for you, it was ABSOLUTELY necessary, thats crazy. and means your entire registry of game files was corrupted.

i verify weekly and get maybe 1 file that needs to be replaced that is like 60mb. and takes 2 seconds.
