Writing of Steel Dawn is untalented disgusting mess

Not only we got modern day identity politic ♥♥♥♥ with pronounces, which is ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ insane to begin with.
We've got another bunch of pathetic useless ♥♥♥♥♥ for some reason called "raiders" whith whom you not only got zero choices, you can't even kill entitled ♥♥♥♥♥ that you are forced to bring back. That's not an RPG. That's a ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ freak circus with awfully written characters totally not fitting in the universe of Fallout.

Because Arcade Gannon was a good character that happened to be gay. Him being is not even in top 10 of interesting things about his character and questline.
Nowadays they create alphabet soup cardboard cutout and call it a character because muh diversity.

A good book is not defined by its cover, but its contents - the same applies to people, its what is inside that should really matter but everyone has become obsessed with the cover and what they can splatter across it and the spine.

it was terrible and very short. I was hyped to fight the boss but he just 2 hits and got stuck in one spot. Killed him like he was nothing. I got hellcat pa set and well... i thought the armor was going to be black but it's brown....

or there is a paintjob somewhere in the game already just don't know where but errr knowing them... paint in the shop will be 1800 atoms:/

I expected it to be decent. And honestly, trailer of Steel Reign is better than what we got in game itself. By a mile. It was interesting and felt about BOS.
We got instead babysitting of entitled skank, raiders that respect pronounces so other raider felt better (holy ♥♥♥♥), inadequate scientiests that even on the verge of death got no grasp of entire situation and delusional Paladin who makes decisions like middle aged western woman watching tv series, not a leader of branch of militaristic technofascist organization. I'm like in a ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ circus, I don't know who wrote this ♥♥♥♥, but it's amazing how bad it is.

decent writing hasn't come out of bethesda since the shivering isles :////

they've certainly never put anything decent into fallout since owning the IP lol

Outer Worlds was on the level of 76 in terms of story. And actually worse than 76 in terms of everything else. Modern Obsidian should be restricted from creating games.

You don't like the "Rated Teen" mission content for a "Rated Mature" game?

That's just silly.

Everyone loves hand holding, non-offensive, child loving missions that have no dire consequences and everything turns out just peachy so everyone can hug it out at the end of it all.

Outer Worlds did something like Call of Pripyat did. A Shorter game in exchange of a more stable game. Companions were interesting to talk to and the 'corporate' speak was actually frightening. But Outer Worlds combat was bad but simple, you got a good point there.

If only Bethesda didnt treat Obsidian like garbage and cooperated with them long term with Fallout, latter would give ideas, stories and such and former makes the world. Too bad, it wont ever happen.
