Meat Week and You...
I just wanted to toss out a few tips for the upcoming Meat Week event for those new since it was last in game.

traveling super mutant vendor has decided to host a BBQ. every hour on the hour he will light up the fires. during the BBQ there are several things players need to do to get the event completed. pick special green plants. kill small animals for their innards, clean the cow poo. play a drum, spin a spit over a fire, pick up trash piles and put out any little fires the bbq sparks start. the more people who do more things completes the event the fastest. so stomp out a fire if you see it, pick a green plant if you see one, clean up the cow poo as youre running by. event starts every hour so... plenty of chances in a day to get any new rewards.

also at this event you can add PRIME meat to the bbq pit. you get PRIME meat from completing primal cut events that pop up around the map.
these will be popping up around the map all the time. the devs have said they have done some work on this event, that could mean as little as adding new rewards, or changing it up a bit, basic concept is waves of creatures in a primal cut zone, with a boss at the end.
theres a timer so killing things quickly is the priority over looting meat piles. meat piles can be looted between waves. easy events in a group. if nothing major has changed since last time, youll get plenty of prime meat between bbq lightings. lots of xp and great for public event focused groups. some mobs drop a lot of loot other mobs drop crap, over all youre in it for the xp and prime meat rewards to turn in at the bbq.

lots of guides and youtubes videos about this dual event, but its been whispered they may have moved, added changed locations and creature types... as for the bbq itself? new rewards for sure... how the event runs and the things we need to do to complete it?
cnt say for sure. basics shouldnt change. do primal cuts to get prime meats to turn in at the bbq. rinse repeat hourly.

Critters are a good way to knock out the crossbow task for Possum badge.
If you just want the pepper shaker, you don't need to do any thing with primal cuts, I typically just AFK all day at one of the drums or something. Believe it or not, it really does help, so if you're gonna be an AFK farmer, at least be on the Spits/Drums.

Collecting greens and critter bits is important. But, it's better to collect a bunch and turn them in all at once vs turning in one, then running and picking up more. The short term gain from one is quickly lost before you can get the next one in, but drop 10+ and you'll pop the meter lots.
