[Met A Demon Once]

I wear this almost exclusively now except when I am entering a radiation zone. (Buttressed) mod makes it a bit better than Excavator Armor. Throw in some legendary effects and it works pretty well.

It's one of the best sets with well-balanced stats in terms of defense, so of course it "works pretty well".

What else are you going to do with money in the game? Besides, one day they will let us mod it and I will already have it in stock.

I am on the opposite belief when it comes to the helmets or the price would not be so high. It is not a big leap to being able to either "mod" the helmet or create one with legendary effects.

only the devs know the future plans but i personally think the devs flubbed the price or did it as a status symbol

We will find out one day. They only do so many modifications at a time.

Anyway it is not totally useless. It makes for a high priced gas mask. I was down by Welch the other day and forgot I had taken the armor off, I had put it back on but I forgot the helmet. I noticed I was coughing and then I checked my helmet and it was off. I put it back on and it ceased.
