Raiders or Settlers for Gold Raid?

What happens if you pick the raiders?
What happens if you pick the settlers?
Is one better than the other? If so, what one?

I also get a message that other quests will be canceled. How can I be sure that I have completed all of the quests?

I went with share with raiders, and keep for me.
Then I've regret not giving some to Settlers, as it was a pain in the hole to level up the reputation.

Gold buillion are way more ez and "fun" to farm, I hated doing the same daily for the Settlers for like a month I think it was?
And little less time for the Raiders.

I would suggest to give all you can to both'of'em as reputation are the thing you wanna get rid of first.
You won't have enough gold buillion to buy everything you can buy with buillion anyway so..

I suggest going with settlers first till you get Chinese armor for free and then go with Raiders because Chinese armor is insanely expensive to get with bullion

Also you have to be max rep with them. Which is ally, which does take a month or so to complete. I have both of them at max rep... i say gauss shotgun is the best because how op it is.

So far there isn't any actual positive or negative effect for which side you choose. Both are perfectly fine with you after the heist. Even if you choose to keep the bullion for yourself.

If memory serves, the only thing siding with the Raiders allows you to do is get into a room for a unique legendary weapon, but you can glitch through the door as well.

However, I do recommend you do the quests leading up to the heist for both sides. Free Chinese Stealth Suit, etc. that way.

This right here. The only difference is you get Slug Buster if you go with raiders.

As far as the bullion items, It doesn’t matter which side you raid with because on the end you can grind both sides to get max reputation.

Other than the Slug Buster unique weapon, you will get some different npc chatter in town afterwards depending on who you choose. It's just flavor really. At the end of the day, since you can max both factions, it really doesn't matter.

Things to consider:

Personally, I find the faction reputation grind much longer than the gold bullion grind. The simple reason is there are waaaaaay more events that will allow progress towards gold bullion every day than there are faction dailies. IIRC there are 3 faction dailies and that's it. There are enough events that award treasury notes (for bullion) that I don't know the total number, but its much higher than 3.

So... if you really want one of the top tier faction rewards asap (gauss shotgun vs minigun), then it may be worth choosing that specific faction and not keeping all the gold for yourself at the end of the mission.

From an roleplay standpoint: If you want to keep all the gold at the end, you may feel better about stealing from the raider faction than stealing from Foundation. Either way, it's just NPC's, so dont lose sleep over how they feel.

Lastly, I, personally, found the raiders NPC characters waaaaay more interesting and fun to quest for and with and then rob. lol. Plus that Slug Buster was pretty sweet for my build at the time.

Literally nothing, you can max both

you do all the pre pick a side things, as the settlers give you the 5000 gold bullion cost chinese stealth armour free

Keeping the gold = more gold for you
Splitting the gold with 1/ = less gold for you, more rep for who you share it with
giving the gold to both = much less gold for you, more rep for both

Do both until you are on the raid mission with both, then chose whatever you want. If you want the gauss shotgun faster, then chose foundation. If you want gauss minigun faster then chose raiders.

Foundation won't give you any special reward exept an outfit. On raiders you can find a good plasma rifle and get an outfit.

Splitting the gold between factions give you medium rep with both factions. Taking all gold for yourself lower your rep with the faction by a lot. Giving gold to one faction boost the rep by a lot.

You can increase the rep later when you are done with the quest with both factions. There is the daily one, and then there is the random encounters. 10 random encounter is equal to one daily. Depends on how long you play every day then it might be worth it or not. There are some guides there where you should go to trigger those random encounters. But if you can do 10 every day then you increase the rep twice as fast than if you wouldn't.

Raiders you get slug buster. Which is a 4 star plasma gun. Anti armor , vats crit damage , 90% reduced weight and the secret 4th effect Raraplasmagun which is 20% less ap cost.

Put the pulse reciever and the flamer barrel and off to the races you go.
