Greetings, I am looking to purchase blueprints for a Bow, Compound Bow and/or Crossbow.

I am currently level 10 and was wanting to tinker around with the Bow. I believe you get the blueprints in the quest line however I have not ventured that far. I am enjoying just exploring the simple forest area at this time.

I was hoping someone could sell me blueprints or the bows if they are laying around collecting dust in your stash.

Crossbow plan is sat at the Pioneer Scout Camp target range, near the Weapons workbench, so can be gotten for free anytime. Might need to server hop to get it.

Bow plan is available from scavenger traders and from Raiders/Settlers but will require Cautious level of rep or higher. It is a guaranteed reward if you complete the missions for Duchess at The Wayward, which is easy to do.

Compound Bow is a Wastelanders weapon and plans can only be bought for Gold Bullion, so are non-tradeable and require Ally level of rep. Will take you a while to get one.

Crossbow is available from level 15, but you should get to that pretty quick. Head into the Toxic Valley, find the Pioneer Scout Camp and grab the plans. I am unsure if they'll spawn for you before you're level 15 so I'd wait until you are then pick them up and craft one. TBH the bows are more fun than the crossbow. If you intend to be an Archer, get all the Archery and Bow Before Me perk cards in Perception to help max out damage and armour penetration.

I'm not playing atm, just finished the season Scoreboard today, so am taking a short break because the last half of the Scoreboard is tiring grind and I need a pause before the next season kicks off.

Talking here on the forums and talking in game are two completely different things. Steam names are often not the same as players names in Fallout76.

A player here on the forum would have no idea who you are in game, so would have no way of knowing it was you unless you had told them your IGN or added them as a friend.

Just an FYI: Your overall account name, let's say "BigFoot", is reserved/unique and can't be used by anyone else. If you call your 5 characters "Yeti", "Sasquatch", "Myth", "Harry" and "Chuchunya!" only you will see those names in your main menu and on the pip-boy - they are identifiers and not unique or reserved, everyone else will still only see "BigFoot" over any of your characters head regardless of what you name them. So don't worry about having to create all 5 characters and name them now, only your account name was ever important and reserved.

you dont need to reserve names. they will all be you. same name. as your bethnet account name. as for finding the pioneer scout camp...read a scout poster at any train station it will start the scout questline.. but if all you want is the plan the reading gives you the location on the map...
