Farm spot(s) for weapons and armor to repair?
This weekly drives me nuts. The one thing I (and I suspect most) spend the least amount of time doing in the game is repairing stuff. I always wear the same armor and use the same gun. I repair both to 200% and scrap everything I find. But this weekly requiring me to repair 15 weapons or armor is really tedious.

I realize I can generally get weapons off enemies I kill, but now that I'm actually looking for them, they're all at 100%! I feel like there's at least one or two locations I can't think of where there is a stockpile of weapons that won't be at 100% but I'm not sure.

Any suggestions?

EDIT: Thanks all, esp. @Hefutoxin. I had no idea luck affected dropped weapon durability. That said, it seems randomized weapon/armor placement isn't affected by this and seem to always be below 100%.

Maybe, you can found some "loose" weapons at the Morgantown trainyard ... , habitually they are "repairable" ... .

Find protest sign(s) (plenty around Ash Heap). Go to area that has nearby weapon workbench. Hit something, repair cost 1 wood scrap, go back and hit again.

I like Mamma Dolce as nearby sheds have bench and protectrons are slow enough you can run up, hit, repair a few times before killing. Another site is miners monument.

Another option even with high luck, go to West Tek and kill the super mutants. They drop weapons when they die, not the ones on their corpses but the weapons sitting on the ground are usually low durability so can repair. It may just be me but super mutants seem to more reliably drop the weapons they are holding as well as having one in their inventory.

you can trick with the repair kits that repair to 150%, they are useable on items that are already at 100% condition or even higher than that, and still raise the counter. so when you find a item that is under 100% you can at least repair it twice. onetimes to 100% on a workbench and than again with the 150% repair kit.

Just repair the stuff that kills drop before you scrap/sell it.
mole miner mineshaft just outside of whitesprings. gauranteed one run through and your done all in one shot.

This is what I do when this goal comes up.

1. I stop using Fix it Good and Weapon Artisan to repair to 200%.
2. I burn off a bunch of those Basic Repair kits given by events and scoreboards.

Also a weapon does not need to be almost broken to repair it. I did this with the crossbow task for Pioneer Badge. Repair it to 100% hit a mob with it a few times, repair, repeat.

whitesprings mall. and server hopping there. multiple whitesprings themed vendors sell weapons or ear, other faction bots have reps there as well also selling weapons and gear. thats where i go to do that challenge. unless my personal gear is trashed... then i still hit up whitesprings to finish it.
