But making a blueprint that remembers where you placed all the things in the workshop isn't possible. Which is what people are actually wanting and asking about (seen the question/suggestion raised many times).
I'm not surprised, that is something that logically makes a lot of sense, and I feel would attract a lot more players to the whole workshop system, because frankly it's just tedious to have to rebuild everything every time.
This explains how you might come upon an unowned workshop that has been built up. When capturing a built up workshop, the cap cost to claim it is higher than the default unimproved workshop.
As was stated previously , you can blueprint sections of the workshop so you might be able to quickly develop that same workshop on another server.
Last thing to note. While building in a workshop, you will note that the amount of resources required to construct items begin green colored and turn white the more you build. A workshop has an initial stash of construction materials that are used for construction. The green numbers mean you are building with the workshops stuff, when the numbers turn white it means you are now using your own personal stash to construct things.
You can never get back the materials used for workshop construction.
and if u scrap anything there it goes back to the workshop you dont get it back
make a small blueprint of a power source inside a small locked building then stick the refiners down and power them to your little premade sub station
ignore the rest turrets etc because they aint really needed if u go back to the workshop when a event pops up there
