Worst Nuke I've Ever Seen
Spent a good 1.5hrs on the first two nukes, cycling SBQ and Earl. Then, this fool takes the last silo, takes 40 minutes to drop a nuke. Plants it directly on the fissure, takes us 18 minutes to kill the queen inside the nuke zone. Lost the last Earl fight.. So frustrating.

So, if you're going to drop a nuke. Please do it in a way that the circle doesn't hit every building around the fissure. Please.

better yet, be that person who is using a hacked weapon and kill the boss in 5 seconds before anyone else could even join or even tag the boss for it's loot x_x

Naw, perfect spot on fissure site prime for xp and flux things. For me, I have had (not sure for the verb ... !) my greatest battles in Fallout 76, there ... !

Was Drop Site V9 inside the nuke zone? I've seen a few nukes like that.

I don't even bother with it in those cases.

when i drop a nuke i drop it how people like, because i know it upsets so many people otherwise, but i really do love when someone drops it that way. doesn't bother me at all to fight in the rads, and i like having a larger accessable area radiated
all that said, i don't know if i'd blame the rad zone for the queen fight taking so long, i've seen it fast, slow, and average speed both in and out

V9 inside the zone, firebase inside the zone. Chugging through Rad-Aways, most people run bloodied builds which are a headache in a nuke zone, watched the guy who launched the nuke fall into the cracks twice... Quality of life man, those fights aren't fun for anyone who isn't carrying around their entire pharmacy.

I dropped one last night leaving Forward Statioj Delta out of the nuke zone because I have a camp there. She wouldn’t come out of the nuke zone. Took over 20 minutes to kill her. Was glorious, fortunately on a team with no bloodied builds so I slotted Rad Sponge. Didn’t need a single rad anything.

Direct fissure prime fights are the best fights. Everyone puts on power armour/Hazmat and assemble just outside the drop zone, nuke hits and everyone runs in. So much more exciting and dramatic.

The low rumble of the rads, the sky turning orange, that's an exciting ending to the story. Waiting in a fenced in area or worse on top of the fence is an anti climax. Besides in open land near the fissure SBQ will land more often, tent and fence sitters are often the cause of no landing (plus few running limb cripple perks).

So if a longer fight and no high rad players, sign me up. Being op is ok for solo but group content should be more inclusive.

i get that many/most people builds are like this, but i gotta point out that "anyone who isn't carrying around their entire pharmacy." isn't true. as a non bloodied all i gotta do is pop a radshield and be in my power armor, not even take advantage of perks. easily make it through the queen fight without popping a single radaway every time, i'll use one or two diluted afterwards farming the zone

As bloodied you're already down to 20% (most of the time) before the fight starts. So as much as it's about the radiation damage it's also about being so low in health that a radscorpion can tickle you and you're dead. Then, when you do something to manage your rads/the death problem, all of your dps dissapears.

We're talking like, barely made the timer before a fail here. So all of that trouble, ammo, time, was about to go up in a mushroom cloud. Sure all for a great fight in a nuke zone, but tell me how that goes when the Queen glitches out and starts skating around the sky (which almost always happens in longer fights).

No one told you to play bloodied so don't tell people how to throw a nuke for some one who can't even take 3* perk in str or backpack mod for stimps & rads.

As this game is based off a single player game agro control is really basic. To control the Queen all it takes is someone willing/able to take a few hits, that's it she won't fly if she can hit someone.

Melee builds excell as they can block, problem few melee around. Vampire tank builds can stay close, but they will need to deal with rads from Queen.

I'm an old school MMO player and know the dynamic of tanking and boss positioning for dps protection but the problem with FO76 is everyone wants to be dps. For this I blame YouTube as A.I. study and knowledge doesn't earn clicks.

Yeap, alot of players are sneaking, so it take someone to attract/lure her ... . Me, often I switch on (when in PA) my headlight and she goes down relatively short after that ... .
uni790 Aug 29, 2021 @ 10:16pm
Someone drops it there, I put my stealth suit on, and go punch her in the face, just as I'd do outside the rad zone, note, I don't actually sneak with it, to me it's just a hazmat suit with armour values.

In the end the fight is largely the same, a quick gear change, run right in, punch away.
