How do you go about getting yer mutations?

I hear getting them from MODUS is very expensive, even with hard bargain. So I guess that leaves sitting in a river and waiting. How long does it take to get the mutations you want? Are some more common than others, meaning I'll be getting them often instead of something else? Also, say I get a mutation I want, and have one I don't want. Is RadAway random in the mutation that it removes? Is there a specific way to remove the one you don't want?

So, I'm new to this but have done some experiences, I have bought the one that I want and make them. I sell, under "Miscelenaous/sorry I translate from french" in my player's vendor, may check on the map for player's vendor and server hop, if you want to find some ... . High radioactive place will mutate you, for sure ... !!! To get rid of those that you not want, radaway will cure one at a time randomly and decontamination shower will cure all. Other players may have more experiences ... !!!

Player vendors sell Mutation serums (look under Aid/Med section).
Get the ones you need then use Starched Genes to lock them.

Depends your Caps ... !!! Just identify (in english) under what the player's vendor name it ... .

I buy them in bulk at 200 fairly frequently

400-600 is normal
800 is worth it cause it can be a pain to find them

I then horde them and give them to people I know

ALWAYS BUY FROM A PLAYER. 300-750 caps max all day, just server hop

only worry about buying recipes when your swimming in caps and need to get below the 30k limit. even then id buy other ♥♥♥♥

collect loads of dirty water from a lake and drink it till u get a mutation and ones u have one you like equipt the starched genes perk card and you keep it also im pretty sure u can only get 1 mutation per server so you have to server hop to get another one

Yeah, but this would only work for one mutation. If I did it again and got a mutation I didn't want I'd risk losing the one I want taking radaway.

you can only get 1 mutation per server. SO once you get a mutation switch servers. your problems partially solved.

also screw the water idea, find emmet mountian disposal site to the North east of foundation go inside there are rad barrels and a rad shower you can use to get and cure unwanted mutations/rads

if you want to chery pick your mutations only serums will work, and you can use as many serums on 1 server as you have

That is all fine and dandy sounding, but in practice standing in rads to gain mutations really sucks.

You have no control over which mutations you gain.
If you lose the radiation to get rid of a bad mutations there is no control over which is gone.
It could literally take you hours or days to get ones you want.
In the end you go buy serums instead of gaining a bad mutation or losing a good one.

Time wise it is far quick to just save up caps and go find the serums you want, That also ensures you only get the mutations you want.
