Search a Petrified Corpse? Anyone ever Find Anything?

So there are all these petrified corpses lying around, and all of them have this "search" function enabled for them. I've checked dozens of these corpses, and have yet to ever gind anything in the ash pile. Does anyone ever find anything? Is there some special perk card or gear required to locate loot items from petrified corpses?

There is a rare chance they may drop a little junk or caps, but I have never gotten anything. Unless you are looking for a few rads just skip them.

from time to time i loots caps but most of the time nothing or useless junk
since i have 1000 rad resist from my armor i dont mind poping them anyway

I got something the first time I looted one, but then I went a very long stretch where I never found anything else in them. I was starting to think I imagined it, but then I got some Rad X off of one today. It must be VERY rare, because I've tried to loot a whole lot of them and only had anything drop twice.

Caps and junk. Never seen anything else. I check them about 70% of the time when I see them, if they haven't already popped apart. Very small chance of loot, though.
