Tbh that’s the first thing I tried, multiple times, even shutting the game down and re-loading, hoping that this maintenance session will address a few of the issues that the community are having as a whole

Have you a marker for it, didn't remember ... , sometimes it's on an upper floor ...

It’s supposed to drop on the body and it’s bugged

Like I said, didn't remember cause I have done it one time with no problems in the quest ... , Maybe try to activate/deactivate the quest in your pip-boy, next time ...
