BoS Shielded Lining plans

These plans used to drop from turning in technical data. That mission is no longer available since it was abused a little while ago. Anyone know of another way to get this? Willing to buy/trade if anyone has em. Thanks.

People have said and I have seen some older posts on reddit saying vendor bots may sell them, but never with any pics and I haven't seen it for myself yet. I have all the other plans including uniforms, just missing this one.

Everyone I've asked who got the plans say they we a reward from turning in technical data. No one I know purchased them. /shrug doesn't mean it's not there, but I have 2 characters and 700+ levels between them and I check often.

Another things that works, craft BOS underarmor and scrap them ...

You also need the other bos lining plans for it to drop for you. Think you can get it from the BOS bot vendor, or maybe its max BOS protection lining.

In order to get the shielded lining plans to drop you must already know the previous versions.

You can buy previous versions from the vendors, one level at a time, server hop/relog for the next level.

BOS shielded lining is only from turning in technical data after you have bought and learned protective.

In my opinion the Shielded Secret Service one is better.

Nah it's the shielded plans for the underarmor. There are fatigues, soldier, and officer uniforms. You can mod them like other underarmor for treated, resistant, protective, and shielded.

Yea I believe you are right. I was just hoping there was something I missed somewhere. Thanks. I already have the ss underarmor and it's far easier to get imo. I'm asking for the BoS one.

Ok, I probably won't be on for the rest of the day unfortunately, but is there something specific you're looking for? I think the rarest plan I have is the spicy mod for tenderizer off the top of my head, but not sure.

SS having the best stats for most builds and a direct pathway to acquire makes it difficult to overlook.

Only if you want RP or look (SS has clown shoes) then you realise how bad the rng is for other older plans.

Been trying for higher level marine wetsuit plans for look + hazard function but the limited events and rng make the SS much more appealing (can always wear outfit).

You should be able to still get it from random Cranberry Bog event, iirc.

My big pet peeve is the Shielded Marine one ... (only got 1 out of all my 5 characters)

Hmm, can you buy em from the bot in the town with the large train yard? south east on the map.
Think he was on one of the side houses in the main road that is the "camp" of sort. Or I could be wrong here.

Yep, but you need a special currency. To get this special currency you first need to talk to Elder Maxson.

shielded brotherhood comes from the tech data..and the tech data only. Quest is disabled because people were unable to log into game who had large amounts of Tech data on them

dont know why people are saying to server hop to find the previous plans..as you receive all previous upgrades to the under armor by completing the brotherhood quest
