I've verified that I still have a bSteamEnabled=1 in my Fallout76.ini file
*EDIT* - Problem was PICNIC (Problem in chair, not in computer), I was saving the edited config files to console user account under the wine prefix, not the steamuser account, hence why the config edits weren't taking when launching the game via steam.
Also, on a side note, my atomic shop is working properly. I am not sure if this fix is due to the dbghelp.dll or me installing a few extra dll overrides while debugging a mod manager for FO76
*UPDATE* I have a prospective fix for the atomic shop, but, I suspect it will break logging in to the bethesda launcher.
In order to get correct pricing in the Atomic shop, you must locate and install copies ucrtbase.dll and api-ms-win-crt-private-l1-1-0.dll I have obtained and placed both 32 and 64 bit versions into my proton and lutris installs, and set a native dll override for both files. As a result I have clean Atomic Shop access with correct pricing. It did however break sure login via the BethesdaNet launcher.
There's already an atom shop fix. Trunklebobs fix has allowed me to use the atom shop for months now, with all prices showing.
About 20'ish reviews down on Proton DB, the guy with the mouse icon as a name.

The only thing I can't get to work is photomode. I don't crash. thanks to the WINEDLLOVERRIDES fix, but I've never been able to save save photos taken with the camera to my camera roll in game. I have to line up the shot, clear UI elements, then use Steams screenshot thing.
I'm not sure why Trunklebob's fix works for some people, but not others, but if it doesn't it's worth trying Mr Malice's fix.
