Someone stole items from my vending machine

I was lucky enough to be at my base when it happened. I saw him using my vending machine which i filled the day before and noticed there were only 3 left. He probably stole items from my inventory too. WTF. After that i just logged off....

I don't want to say it has 100% happened to me but I'm always in touch with how many caps I have and what is being sold in my vendors. Have had several items, nothing super rare or anything really important, just disappear from my vendors and stash entirely and I'm extremely sure I didn't get the caps for.

I know how many caps I had and these items are gone from my vendors and I never received the caps. I'm coming up short a few thousand caps.

Like I said no important items and the caps don't worry me, but I just want to say that I'm very sure there is another vendor exploit around.

Don't put the vendor machine outside your base, if they have wooden internet they can see your stuff in the vendor machine during the time the camp loads in. Put it on a spot where it take atleast 10 sec for them to get to. The load time will increase if you use a camp glitch.

At this point I vonder how long was the time during which your inventory was safe vs this game's lifespan.

thing i noticed during my last play several months ago was how slow Beth was when it came to fixing exploits, took them 3 weeks to fix vendors the first time and immediately after they fixed it it still happened.

I started playing on Wastelanders release and I am pretty sure that for at least least the third of the time up to this date vending machines/display cases were either disabled entirely or heavly discouraged from use.

i updated my last post sadly i couldnt find the link i was originally after but i have seen quite afew posts and i think it was something to do with server hopping or crashing but as i said in my edited post i dont use venders (i dont trust them) so i dont save links to do with them

he put them in the nuka cola fridge they wernt stolen he gave them away its a ment to work that way the op even said he learned his mistake
