A few options is you can have a minimal above ground with all crafting and buff items below.

Allows for a highly mobile camp, ability to camp in dangerous areas (toxic vally, near fissures) with just extractor.

But for the most it's not that useful in its' current state (no displays).

More space to build.

A secure crafting location where you don't need to deal with enemies.

So i can use it as a mobile caravan okay cool but still pointless

because its just a place for people to build - thats pretty much it

also realize that the starter one is just one of many coming - people have even seen a "cave shelter" door just north of white springs that probably will be a new type of shelter you can build in a cave

that said I built my characters actual bedroom into the shelter and then left all my space upstairs for full on industrial farm to get me a ton of materials in my green house

havent you already complained about shelters before?
PhotriusPyrelus Nov 27, 2020 @ 6:13pm
Why would you complain about this?
Turd King Nov 27, 2020 @ 6:26pm
Because the SHELTER fits the lore and feel of the game

So you could build more?

Basement

The only thing I will say about Shelter's so far is this: I wish the inventory would have been made separate for the storage of items. 800lbs goes fast these days. Would have been a great surprise if our underground shelter's could have had, say, 200lbs storage all to their own. Otherwise I mirror some of the thoughts above. You now have a 1 square mobile C.A.M.P. that you can put in 95% of the world wherever you are at. (Looking at you Scorchbeast Queen! No more having to WALK back to repair with my overweight @zz.)

This is what it is for me. Took my crafting stuff and moved it to the shelter to free up camp budget. Moved bed inside as well.

Can craft and rest without being annoyed by random attacks.

Beyond that - it's lackluster. Building inside the shelter gives me flashbacks of when Fallout 4 first released and realized whoever coded the building aspect of it was at least moderately brain damaged.

I like to waste time, i've just been playing Cod and got bored of that, might as well see what else is added. Plus i got 10 nuke keys to waste lmao. I brought this game back in 2018 played it for a month got bored of it. I probably won't pay no more than £15

Am one of those people who would come back for a bit grind a bit and get bored after a month. Am like it with most games, but i'll happily say am happy i paid £10 for this game. I suppose if your a fallout 1st member ur praticially getting ur paid content, but no lie this BoS story line is kinda disappointing sorry for ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ on ur favourite game. Am an old school fallout fan. It's same for fallout 4 i don't play that anymore just not fun.
