Robot chess set

So I picked up metal robot chess pieces in an area (I forgot where). Is there any point in hanging on to these pieces?

You can put them in a display case, that's about it

its armor better than metal when looking at physical dmg, but with the same weight problem. so when you using PA or already on Combat/Marine/Pathfinder/Brotherhood/SS just ditch it.

define robot chess pieces. models on stands about 6 inches in game scale tall or actual chess pieces called rook king queen pawn etc?
either thing is not needed to hold onto. the models look cool in a display case and the chess pieces break down into steel iirc.

Yea those are the ones. With chess piece names. Break down into steel.

problem is the chess board.... if only we could carefully place them on the board. and then let our ally or robot bump into the table and fling them to the four corners lol fallout 4 was good for that.
