Beth and Zenimax were surviving just fine. WTF are you talking about ?
Microsoft obviously made this deal as a big incentive to win over gamers to use the Microsoft platform: Xbox, PC, Gamepass. Beth and id alone are still massive studios (with a lot of talent and tech) that ppl love.
Bethesda Game Studios is an amazing studio; and they fully support modding. To assume MS would pushout Beth and instead allow Obsidian to make Fallou5 with the Unreal engine is a bad move IMO. Sure, allow Obsidian to help, but BGS should have the lead and continue to use an UPDATED Creation Engine. Long live modding !

Fallout New Sequel, im sick playing on same map with different story
(my opinion)
Tbh, I wasn't a huge fan of New Vegas or 3 so I don't mind either way.
