It means they will make more money, they weren't broke or in danger at all.
You just here to create some flame with your delusional thoughs.
Big company + big company = big money.
Simple
Oh, you will always find some reason why X happened but Y did not, so that it fits with your narrative.
Zenimax was fine. While you were hyper focused on Fallout, they rereleased Skyrim a dozen times and ESO is still pumping out expansions and DLC dungeons.
Funcom was on the market a while back due to money issues, no one bought them. Unless you are saying Conan, Longest Journey, Anarchy Online, and The Secret World are bad IPs to have.
Hopefully it means players finally get treated like any other studio would treat there own players instead of treating them like crap
Tencent have acquired Funcom.
Ah, it was recent. I was only paying attention after TSW launcher, prior to Exiles.
Bad day to be a Sony fanboi by the sounds of it.
Oh right, Outer Worlds, the game that lasted like two days for most players. So short most people forgot the game even existed. I think they only people who even remember the game are the same people that people Obsidian on a pedestal.
A year later, Outer Worlds even have mod support yet?
How about any DLC announcements for Outer Worlds?
Let us not forget they screwed everyone pre-ordering for $60 only to let most people play it for $1 with Gamepass.
You do know that Outer Worlds wasn't their big project right?
They even warned people to lower their expectation during their interviews.
Avowed Is what they wanted to create as "the next big RPG" and the reason they joined Microsoft not Outer Worlds.
And how about this game lol? Id much rather them make fallout games compared to ♥♥♥♥♥♥ ass bethesda. Plus what Wraith said; TOW was pretty good for what it was and ppl blew their expectations way too high for it
I don't care about a New Vegas sequel or reboot but I would like to see Obsidian have another go at a new Fallout, whatever the setting.
