Ultracite Power Armor mods

Any other way to get them besides killing scorch beats queens? I run solo.

I've seen multiple people selling them for cheap, grabbed all the armor plans for the power armor by the time I was level 31. Mods are the same, purchased about 3-4 from camp vendors.

I sell them when I get them but it is pretty rare since I rarely do the SBQ anymore. If you run solo just show up to the event when it starts, that's what I used to do. Every extra hand helps. Same with Earle.

I got ultracite emergency protocols from a random scorchbeast in the mire yesterday. So it is possible for them to drop without the queen, but very rare.

I don't understand why would somebody bother with Ultracite at all, given how rare and random its mod drops are. Its not even the best armor, why do this to yourself?

Either buy mods for t-51/x-01 or waste gold on t-65.

It's a step up from T60. Also a full set looks really nice.

Couple of reasons, you get a full set of it after finishing the BoS mission granting it, no crafting. Second I'm only using this to run dailys because the NPC's have piercing gaze so I can't run it with my Chinese stealth armor. Third I would really like to run X01 but a have to fully craft from scratch and the mod plans in the Enclave I would still need to spend even more caps than the Ultracite mods.

Ultracite Calibrated Shocks are as rare as Roc teeth.

In the long run, X-01 would be a better investment. Even if it doesn't seem like it right now.
