Erm, free ultracite power armor?
So I hit 50 and finally got around to going to do my excavator armor quest, for some reason when I crafted it I also got a full set of Ultracite power armor placed in my inventory. I don't recall ever having the plans to craft that but I also did not have enough ultracite to craft it even if I had known or wanted to. I'm sure this is some weird bug in my favor, just curious if that's happened to anyone else?

I've not had the actual armor desposited in my inventory, however the ultracite armor plans are so ridiculously common that most people just trash them or offer them for free on their vendors.

I had something similar happen to me. One day I just got a random set of Raider armor in my inventory. Not sure if it's from finishing the run or not.

You get the Ultracite power armour when you finish "Belly of the Beast" quest, after finding Taggerdy's body in the Glassed Cavern.

You get the Raider power armour when you finish Rose's "Key to the Past" quests and gain access to the locked cache in Pleasant Valley Ski Resort.

The Ultracite power armour plans are available on Taggerdy's terminal on the top floor of Fort Defiance which is accessible after completing the "Belly of the Beast" quest.

The Ultracite power armour parts and mods are randomly rewarded from defeating the Scorchbeast Queen, so once you've done a fair few of those events you'll know the lot.

Same with the x-01 armor from MODUS.
