secret service under armor bug or am I just brainfarting?

I just bought the Secret Service under armor plan, "ingested" it and now I'm not seeing it as an option to build at any armor bench. I have modules. Am I missing something here, shouldn't it at least show up unlit as a OPTION in the underarmor section, even if I don't have all the components or the proper cards up?

did you look in the secret service section? i have avoided buying the plan for this underarmor because it was having issues.

so since all the rest of the ss armor stuff is in the ss category....

Secret Service "section"? Should I be seeing that in the armor workbench options? It's only giving me the regular categories right now and now I'm wondering if I have to go buy another thing that gives me secret service options.

the secert service armor has its own section. i cant say if the underarmor lives there or else where. as i didnt buy that plan yet.
if you read it then it should show up in one of the sections or create the ss section.

i just paid 75 gold for that on sale from Minerva outside Whitesprings til Sunday. Learned it. Also don't see it in any list for crafting even @ armor bench. I guessing that because i don't have any other plans or SS armor ??

I believe all under armor came it the same section: under armor aswell.

Did u perhaps buy one of the 'lining' plans and NOT the actual under armor? Cuz that is possible (the other under armor linings, afaik, need to to have learned the previous before u can learn the one after, but SS u can snag the lining plans before the suit itself, and u can learn / buy the shielded plan, without having learned/bought the previous linings too)

Being that I myself have gone though this exact situation, I am pretty sure you got the lining plan (one of them anyways) and not the ACTUAL under armor plan. (Is ok, u know it so u can go to the vender and the ones u own will be listed at the bottom - with (known) before the name... Note that with many of the bullion plans, u may need to actually 'inspect' the item in the shop to see exactly what it is for, since ALL of the linings, and the under armor itself, start off with 'Secret service under armor' with the rest of the text cut off due to lack of space to display.

that rang a bell. i believe you nailed it. i vaguely recall lining. dam that was dum of me. oh well no big deal. i guess maybe sometime in future i might try to get plan for or actual under armor to be able to add that lining mod to. thanks for much for detailed likely correct answer. :-) reward sent well earned ;-)

easy mistake, esp with the absolutely clear and well laid out bethesda has chosen to display certain things ingame, making it so sure that nobody can possibly make a mistake. (LOL They tend to list multiple items with the exact same first X characters, but cut off the display so u can't see, even so far as to list multiple items but NOT describe 'which' limb is required...)

Anyways bonus is it is now listed at the end and (known) so u can avoid doubling up on it. (And it'll still be there when u do get the lining) and also, consider to that there is a finite number of things u can buy with gold, so eventually u will have it all.

'sides without mistakes, how would one ever know what not to do? :D silver lining, said mistake was a cheap one :/

for that cheap you bought the lining not actual under armor.. under armor I think was like 250 gold.
