Supply drops.

Are they bugged or something? Called two in from different towers and neither are showing up in thier respective location.

You have to wait a long time or someone shot it down. And they contains garbage anyways, complete waste of time.

Did you attend meat week event before calling supply drops? My hypothesis is that Meat Week event might mess up the quest system (for player) in a way similar to Fasnacht (event). I also notice similar stuff for Hide and Seek and Destroy (Hunting Nuke Card)

Did leave server and rejoin solve that?

Haven't done a meat week event on that day. Only started this past week. I didn't try that yet will do so now.

for those who may not know. if you run across one of these supply drops and you didnt call it...
leave it alone. its locked for the player who called it youll get that red banner if you pick it.

at least thats hwo it ended up working out. maybe they changed it recently but i never saw any mention of such a change.

also you cant call multiple ones down from the same tower. from multiple towers i cant recall if we could. those cargo bots are targets for us and npcs. i stopped calling them down as part of my daily routine using the closest to flatwoods tower. the contaienrs would land around flatwoods, and when i was new i appreciated them falling around the area i was in a lot. when they atarted locking them i stopped as new players were posting a lot that they were getting wanted.
and the answer was if you didnt call it down its not meant for you.

the devs they do change things in what seems the wrong direction soemtimes.
like the feed the people event. it literally says in the name of the vent feed the PEOPLE. we were the ONLY people on the server from the vault everyone else was dead.
so long ago completing that event would reward EVERYONE on the server cans of meat stew...
we would run the event and feed the people. no one complained about that, it was the bugs getting the event started and later on when for odd reasons the event gave meat stew but took shotgun shells from us...

they fixed the event from giving cans of meat stew to the people on the server and just to the people at the event. i still get corpse seeds in my inventory magically...
and cop a squatter pops up and cempletes and rewards me the loots and im no where near the bog.mire as well as abandoned bog town still has never shown as discovered for my challenges...

all kinds of hiccups and these cargo drops have always had issues. either peopel complained they came across them and they werempty even though container contents are individual for each player. so they locked them... i said at the time peopel were coming across soemone elses box nto the one they launched... as it used to be several smoke columns around flatwoods all the time.

it became not worth the troubles to launch them for me. now i toss those holos into the nearest bin.
