Fallout 76
Getting random crashes (Being investigated, link inside)
Mostly after start up. No idea what triggered it. Anyone else?

EDIT: A bethesda community manager is looking into it. Go to this page and post your CPU and GPU so they can investigate the issue:

If you're using Ryzen first gen like me this may fix it for you like it has me.

Chipset --> Socket AM4 --> B350 (may vary for you).

Install chipset updates, restart PC then run FO76.

Just downk loaded and installed new drivers and im playing on Ultra settings and havent froze up for 40 minutes now.
I noticed right away how much smoother my game is running.

Thanks for the help Swamp.

How do you figure out what the third option is?

it's your motherboard
Mh, i updated everything, even my bios, and the game crashed, but mostly when combat, when building my camp there is no issue at all. If there is no fix from bethesda (or steam?) part i'll consider to move to another game, this thing is broken enough to have another game breaking glitch that give a ctd in 5 - 10 minutes...

Also getting crashes after this update.
I remembered doing something while the server was down, and that was to update my nvidia driver, so i rolled back my nvidia driver yesterday from 456.55 to 456.38 and i got half an hour in game before i had to go to bed, so not 1-2 minutes before it crash. so might be worth it to try that. i will have time to play later, so i will report back if it crashes
same here today i got more crash that normal
either bethesda fixed something or rolling back the nvidia driver helped. but i have just been playing for 2 hours without any issues, i even did 5 daily ops without an issue
I have made sure that everything is up to date and this still crashes. I pay to have Fallout 1st and I cant play. Am I going to get credit for the days I cant play. Not likely but you can bet that they will make sure that I pay on time or lose Fallout 1st. I would really like to know what is being done about this. I try to play and it crashes within about 20 seconds. This is getting old fast.
Prior to yesterday I had 1 crash in 4 months, today alone I've had three making it a nightmare to try and complete anything, and just an annoyance to even play.
