I recommend looking up the Fallout 76 Market reddit and Discord if you are interested in trading. Good community with trustworthy people. Never been swindled or scammed by them.
Thanks for the replies, you two are awesome!
Next time they nuke the scorched queen area go after its over and collect the plants under the trees, ten plants make one violet flux. I'm not sure what plant you need for cobalt (nuked mutfruit?). I now have a lot of each fluxes.
Cobalt is best found in Morgantown. There will barely be enough to craft 1 in the SBQ area.
As wkett mentioned, you will also need high radiation fluids, glowing mass, and harden mass, at a Chemistry workbench, to 'stabilize' each raw flux into 'stable'.
Put on your Power Armor, hot-key Rad-Away and Rad-X, put 'Ghoulish' in your Endurance, 'Green Thumb' in your Perception, and that radiation medicine card from Intelligence, and go hit the Blasted Zones to collect all that stuff! Oh and you may find a few Legendary Glowing Ones to kill too, so use that Perception card as well
Please correct me if i'm wrong but, SBQ area is good for crimson and violet. Area around Monongah for Earle is mainly cobalt and yellowcake with a small amount of crimson.
Both these areas get nuked fairly regularly so it is pretty easy to go on a farming run for materials for making fluxes. Make sure you have green thumb perk to get double from every plant. SBQ area I always get easily well over 100 raw violet flux in one run. Not sure why you are not able to find any?
For me it is the high radiation fluids that are a pain to get. I still have 40-50 of both glowing and hardened masses, but when I next go into the blast zones I keep getting the ones I don't need.
If you click on each of the raw fluxes in the link below, you will get a map showing where they are all located in the game world.

Edit: Oh you meant the number of items.
