Stupid Finding World!
I hate when it says couldn't place camp because it keeps joining me in the same world when i click join another world! Please let me join a game, stop joining the same one, I'm not going to remove my camp! Star a new public world if you have to!!! I hate waiting for this ♥♥♥♥...

Choose to stay on the world, wait 30 seconds and then exit and you won't get put back on that world. Supposedly. I've not tried it but it's meant to work.

That will remove your base.

Yeah, and it will be back when you find a new world 30 seconds afterward.

Your base is only scrapped if you re-deploy your camp. Just don't do that and you are fine.

Ahhh ok, that's a relief. Never tested it because I didn't want to lose the base I spent ages on.

You have been stuck on the same server for the last 2 hours? You live on the moon? I have never seen the same server twice. :Shrug:

recently i have both on purpose jumped off a world and was removed from a world to the main menu dissconnected form server message... BOTH times i ended up back in the same world i had been on...because i was on a team.
gave me the option on the main menu to rejoin the team...
i thought how cool, and now im thinking "make sure i leave the team when im server hopping for events... because i dont want to go back to the same dead server. "

as well as people for over a year now askign to be reconnecte dto the world they were last on if disconned for some reason... as well as people complaining non stop about losing events like nuke zones and or workshops. because everyone knows how much workshops help in the game... its cool and all and great for mid levels but when you get to a point they are not worth it at all time or effort to defend.

all of the above might be contributing to the OPs re connecting to the same server... but it is FAR more likely th eOP has built someplace popular. like near the wayward... thats a common place you get out of people whne you ask where did you build the camp that the game says cant be placed over and over.

many popular places, if you run across a spot with a great view doing the main quest...guess who has also already seen that spot? thousands of player before you...
around train stations and high traffic areas...whitesprings morgantown top of the world,around foundation and the crater. also theres a similar message if you have fallout 1st and use a tent. if the tent cant be placed, has nothign to do with your camp, just the tent cant be placed... no big deal no cost to move the tent nothign to rebuild eh.

No I was able to find a new server eventually, I just went and did something else while it was being weird.

Yeah it is cool feature, but what's worrying is that I wasn't in a team. It just, for whatever reason, kept joining me into the same world.

Admittedly I have built in a popular location, but that's not a reason for why it wanted to repeatedly join me into the same world. I would spawn in, see the same corpses, the same time of day, the same people walking around, everything. It was quite frustrating. It's only happened on one other occasion and normally it would find another world. I think it's just a bug.
