Did they fix the spawn manipulation bug on Line in the sand?
The one where you put tent near a pylon or something

I literally just placed tent there and spawns were random
Though I joined the event abit late and people were all around the place ( tent wasnt placed)
and that defaulted the spawns

Last two times I did it, it had normal spawns saw some one move their tent like 3 times still had them spawn normal.

Huh, so maybe they've released an actual bug fix on that.

Other than the fact that the bug sucks and takes the fun out of this event for most people (much like those who very quickly kill the SQB), isn't it a bannable offense to exploit a bug or show others how to do it?

Not really, its a game engine issue .. and, like you said,it takes only the fun out, nothing else.

Things like duplication exploit and whatever else that gives massive advantage over other players might up for a ban hammer

(correct me if im wrong)

Not to my knowledge, you have to get the positioning just right, the tolerance for error is quite low.

Yes, this is a bannable offense, anyone who says otherwise hasn't done their research.

However, that doesn't mean it will be enforced as a bannable offence. It's just like the idea of "Speeding" Includes any and all speeds that exceed the posted "Speed Limit" from 1KPH/MPH to 100KPH/MPH over. However, which do you think is more likely to get your pulled over?

I used that analogy for a reason, it's extraordinarily unlikely you'll be banned for doing the exploit, and even more unlikely for participating in an exploited event. The important takeaway from the exploit is that it doesn't really break the game in the way, say, duping, does. All it does is condense the mobs in one area. It doesn't actually generate more XP, it just makes the XP easier to get. If that makes sense. (Since the event is timed, and only so many waves will ever spawn, this isn't even like the Scorcbheast fissure exploit in Surface to Air)
