How to add paint job to Raider Power Armor, and which ones work?

I just got myself my first set of power armor at level 64ish and I can't add my Slocum Joe Paint :(

It does not work on Raider or T65 armour by the looks of it :/

If you chose Raider on purpose for it's aesthetics then Excavator armour has a similar aesthetic (rough & ready looking as opposed to the sleek T- and X- variants).

Power armor skins that doesn't look like any of the power armors work on all power armors. Four horsemen power armor skins work on all.

I just got the paint and tried to put it on X-01, T-60, T-51, T-45, and Excavator. It doesn't show in my paint options on any of them. I hoped to find a solution here but guess not. I might try crafting a whole new set to see if that works. Probable won't but who knows? I also logged out of the game and back in to see if that made it reset to use them. It didn't.

There´s a quest that requires you to craft one.

The Excavator Armor quest is called "Miner Miracles" You get it off a bulletin board in Garrahan Mining Hq. You must be at least lvl 25 to start it.

Same, just bought off Minerva and doesn't show on any Raider, T-45, T-60, T-65, Hellcat, Ultracite, X-01 or Excavator. Doen't even show in the unlockable section. Tried on 2 different characters and made sure it was for PA.
