Yep, exactly what I pretty much said, but simply didn't bother going into the details as it would have fallen on deaf ears of anyone who has not played the game sufficiently to be aware that sitting on hundreds-of-thousands of rounds of ultracite ammo (the uncommon ammo I referenced) is not something people do, unless they duped it in the first place...
I will NEVER give this company money. (And to all the smartasses. I got the game for free.)
But i need my Cheat Engine, WeMod and those 50+ cheathappens trainers!
How can they ban people for heaving cheats for other games? I mean, its waaay too stupid, even for them. You have trainer for Celestia? Boom - permaban at Fallout 76! How thats even works?
No one sure how the ban the players, but its rumored they see changes in the code from the client and that will flag the account.
True story, I've never even played Fallout 76 and got a ban. It's totally true because I typed it on the internet....
They banned a 3rd of the playerbase after the TSE dupe last year.
I would call into some doubt the validity that they banned 1/3 of their playerbase and would ask you to cite actual evidence of that.
So absolutely no evidence whatsoever. Funny enough even after the dupe ban I saw plenty of high level players.
Also of course people picking up tons of duped items would get banned, I mean otherwise dupers would just dupe like crazy and "drop" it and then those mules would sell it with no penalty. People picking it up knew it was duped so they deserved it.
Yes because RANDOM players on Reddit make for an interesting number. I've seen people on Reddit claim the bans where from anywhere from 1% to 90% of the playerbase......
