Bans are getting out of control.
So ive been offline playing others games while my f076 been collecting dust. Not to recently though after getting over an ear infection btw painful as hell. I experienced my first Ban ever...

erh, a ban on a game i haven't played for in 2 months maybe 3 i lost count, but they banned me for 2 issues one being

Users are forbidden from using any unapproved third party applications, programs, scripts or any other game modifying mechanic used to change the game play experience on a ZeniMax Game, Service, forum, or other games or services provided by ZeniMax, including the distribution of said programs via ZeniMax services, sites, forums, communities, etc. This would include but is not limited to using or distributing speed hacks, aim bots, mouse controllers, spam bots, automated game play devices, etc. Third party applications are defined as any program, application or script written by an individual, company, corporation, or private party not employed by or contracted to perform services by ZeniMax.

So they say i used 3rd party program and i using such thing for pve, which i hate pvp in fo76 not my cup of tea, either way i have streamed f076 and believe me im cant shoot a bat moving in my face. Last one that was stupid was the exploit

5.2 In relation to online/competitive games, users will not exploit any bug, or abuse any game system (such as the scoring or award systems) in a ZeniMax Game, Service, forum, or other games or services provided by ZeniMax. Users will not intentionally use or share any bug found within any ZeniMax Game, real or fictitious, regardless of whether or not it grants an unfair advantage. You will not directly or indirectly communicate the existence of any such bug to any other user of the ZeniMax Service (in game or on a ZeniMax service). Report bugs and exploits using the in-game portal or via help.bethesda.net/app/home/track/AvNzFAqeDv8Q~bseGska~yJdc7gqtC75Mv8X~zj~PP~e.

This apparently when logging on every week just to get the free rewards is still considered exploiting or using your atoms you earned to purchase items, this is well know even in community but in the devs posts too, but the fact that this issues still ongoing since day 1 says much about a company.

Ive put in a lot of hours into the game for the pve purpose and not the pvp i enjoy running around gathering materials and building a base and the lore, well i enjoy it.

Not sure if others figured a way around it, but i wont see my account again till a patch fix were they allow me access back or when a support ticket goes through and they unban me but from what ive been told they wont get to it right away...

Thanks for your time

As I understand it, the people banned for "hoarding ammo" were sitting on so much there is no realistic, or even plainly logical way they could have accumulated it, or even why they would have accumulated so much (we're talking many hundreds-of-thousands of rounds of) ammo, especially rare types which involve uncommon, time consuming to acquire materials to make, and the ammo itself cannot be found in the world...
Any "veteran player" can tell you there is no way you accumilate 100k ultracite ammo legitimately.

You can not simply loot it from mobs or even other players.

Having 100k means you aint using it, if you aint using it, then why in the hell are you crafting it.

A month or ago I seen a post about a guy wanting like 15k ultracite ammo for a deathclaw mask. I did the math on crafting that much and it was like a couple days just to gather enough raw flux. Never mind all the farming for the other dropped materials. Of course then you have the other things like gunpowder and lead collecting either.

Nobody puts weeks of play time into crafting ultracite ammo just so it can sit on a mule.

Of course they could have bought enough flux in trades, but why trade for flux to make ammo you aint going to use?

I think the main problem is that people are willing to trade with the dupers.

Yep, exactly what I pretty much said, but simply didn't bother going into the details as it would have fallen on deaf ears of anyone who has not played the game sufficiently to be aware that sitting on hundreds-of-thousands of rounds of ultracite ammo (the uncommon ammo I referenced) is not something people do, unless they duped it in the first place...
Funny enough. A friend of mine WHO IS DEPLOYED IN ANOTHER ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ COUNTRY WITH NO ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ INTERNET ACCESS. Was banned. He too hasn't touched FO76 since before wastelanders. I got his email this morning.

I will NEVER give this company money. (And to all the smartasses. I got the game for free.)

I'm one of those guys who crafted few thousands of paddle ball string just because i can (in russian localization its just "rope ammo"). And i dont even have a weapon to use those >_>

Do you have that Cheat Engine or whatever installed for other games?

There was quite a few bans caused by people just having that installed and claimed they never used it for Fallout 76.
But i need my Cheat Engine, WeMod and those 50+ cheathappens trainers!
How can they ban people for heaving cheats for other games? I mean, its waaay too stupid, even for them. You have trainer for Celestia? Boom - permaban at Fallout 76! How thats even works?

It's always the same. I've been playing since the BETA days and i've been through a few ban waves and yet i've never been wrongfully banned

They already gave out a reason why the banned players for using cheat engine. They were doing the exploits over 100 times and their system picked up on it.

No one sure how the ban the players, but its rumored they see changes in the code from the client and that will flag the account.

Cheat engine does memory injection, fallout 76 detect it and ban player. Gta5 does not detect it XD.

True story, I've never even played Fallout 76 and got a ban. It's totally true because I typed it on the internet....
They are banning a lot of players now because of dupings. Many players got banned today, many veteran players aswell.

They banned a 3rd of the playerbase after the TSE dupe last year.

I would call into some doubt the validity that they banned 1/3 of their playerbase and would ask you to cite actual evidence of that.

Maybe it was more, but when the ban started most of the high level players disapeared. I was around lvl 200 then, and i didn't see any players near my level for months. Almost everyone was duping, they said it was no risk doing it. They also banned players that stole duped stuff from low levels they killed. Some low levels dropped 2 million flux, then their account got flagged when they picked it up.

So absolutely no evidence whatsoever. Funny enough even after the dupe ban I saw plenty of high level players.

Also of course people picking up tons of duped items would get banned, I mean otherwise dupers would just dupe like crazy and "drop" it and then those mules would sell it with no penalty. People picking it up knew it was duped so they deserved it.

Just heard from some players they banned a 3rd of the playerbase, have no sources for it except what people on reddit are saying. Sure it might not be so high, but when i played almost everyone in my friendlist was offline, and never seen online again after the duping purge.

Yes because RANDOM players on Reddit make for an interesting number. I've seen people on Reddit claim the bans where from anywhere from 1% to 90% of the playerbase......
Bethesda still the laughing stock of the industry. These monkeys don't even know how to do a ban wave properly so they program a bot (and no surprise a bugged one since it's Bethesda) which bans people at random..... Never change Bethesda never change.

It doesn't ban players at random, if it did we would hear about it. Seen many threads ppl getting banned, but its because they duped their weapons and gave it to their friends. Also a veteran player bought 2 BE gatling plasmas from a player and got banned for it, so the system triggered because he had two of the same items with the same item seed on hes character.
