I only tried this game for 2 hours on free weekend, but I read a lot about it over the years (wastelanders npc stuff steal bug, cheaters with power armors, etc.). So if I wrote something wrong because that changed since then, sorry for that.
The OP obviously left out the $16 worth of Atoms you get monthly because it would negate his point.
Almost every single game out there with an optional subscription limits your storage. Only by having a premium subscription do the offer more inventory space. That is the way to encourage people into getting a subscription.
There is no other MMO type game out there that offers free private servers. They all have a fee for use of private servers.
Fallout 76 is not Fallout 4, it can not be run by your home PC. The game takes an actual server to run because the entire world runs, not just the cell area around you.
The scrapbox is not "unlimited inventory" because it only holds raw scrap. Which means it only holds an advantage of 200-400lbs of storage space by removing junk from your stashbox.
Bethesda said DLCs would be free. They never said everything else was free. How the @#$% is a company supposed to make money if everything is free?
