How do you move items manually?

Dont judge me but i use a controller ( I am at heart a sofa gamer - though fallout games will always be better on pc over console (mods!) but i still find it awkward to use a mouse and keyboard on the sofa)

Now on fallout 4,3,new vegas and skyrim...you hold A and can move items about this helps for decorating, storing items nicely etc. How do you do it in fallout 76?

you can not move objects like you could in es/fo. obviously you can pick things up to you inventory also drop things but they will be in a container(defaults to a paper bag). in your camp you can edit to move placements around a lot like fo4 but different. so no like a shelf full of food and stuff though they could add it in a similarly to bobble head stand(shows visually) which still stores in your stash.

moving items like that really has no use outside being able to place them. there are display stands already as well they may add other types of displays.
