Just bought game, Can't create account? "Error during bethesda.net Login"??

I tried multiple usernames, ensured my email is exact... nothing. Any one else having this problem?

I was having the same issue after recovering my account and changing the password. I just exited and reloaded the game then it worked.

if you got it from steam maybe try a refund and buy it on bethesda net

I was able to get on by going directly to the bethesda.net website and setting up an account there instead of trying to do it through the game.

once youve created your bethesda account youll log in automatically when launching via steam.
we are still playing thru beth net and bethesdas servers... seems reasonable a beth net account is needed... and honestly i think they recently changed it so you get that error instead of getting auto assigned a random number letter combo name... now at least new players get a chance to make a account/in game name instead of showing up in the game with 333nbf4453n5k2js43h22

1) Go to https://bethesda.net/en
2) Create an account!
3) We go into the game on this account!
