ps: i swap all the time "crafting" perk cards, super duper, card to save money on fasttravel, mastertrader.....
also the crafting perk cards!
You'll get them all eventually, so why even have them at all? Just make everything passive.
On the other side, Enemies are bullet sponges but not very threatening, so it isn't necessary to use the damage or defense perks. I don't bother equipping most of them because the extra second I take to kill enemies isn't worth the hassle of switching perk cards when I want to lockpick or craft some ammo.
We both have the same problem. I just don't see the need for the excess damage.
B: head over to nexusmods and grab the perk loadout manager mod until official support launches.
C: profit :)
as for nuclear winter: u wrote without mods i can join, but i have mods installed to make the "bobbleheads" and "magazines" visible. Must i de-install this also, or is it enough to remove "*.ini" that time i play NW?
At least with skills (small guns, big guns, energy weapons etc.) You could have a character built your way (high strength, high perception, low agility but still use pistols etc.).
And having no cap on S.P.E.C.I.A.L. points was a bad move (especially the increase to 15 soft cap to accommodate perk cards).
At this stage I'd be happy if they tore down the whole system and went back to a revised FO3 system, you know like how Fallout used to be.
Some on the Beth forums say you should pick one set and thats it. That begs the question, why allow swapping.
If they are going to allow swapping on the fly, stop the many popups and "select a new perk card" requests when level 200 for starters. Pre allocated would be handy.
Just make it quick... "I'm going to open that safe anyway so don't waste my valuable time."
But no, they wont ever sort this. This game is meant to be a long hard chore. Its not a game, its a lifestyle, and a miserable pain in the ass one.
