Selling 1 slice of perfectly preserved pie
Now as it stands not many people have tasted this delicasy. For a mere 10k caps this can be yours!

Eat it, show it off in a display case, talk to it, all this for 10k caps.

You know you are kinda ruining my business venture by saying this. I wouldn't come to your store and tell people they can find something cheaper at another retailer. Not nice.

If I was scamming people, it would be completely just for you to do this. Instead of cheating players, go farm some solid legendary weapons and sell those for 10k. :VBOY:

Please explain how this is a scam. Selling one item for currency.

god so Stupid 10k for a Pie it can be picked up for Free by any player if they know where to look Just as previous comment said. This really is a Scam and Sad Thing is only Noobs would Fall for this scam most likely but even so Most Noobs can not get up to 10k that easily. I starting to think this is just a Troll or your legit trying to Scam Players on purpose. Honestly if anyone actually falls for this scam i am gonna feel like a lot of Gamers Really have fallen over the years if they fall for a Scam Like this. Hell Even Noobs i doubt be foolish enough to fall for this but i guess i be surprised.

It isn't a scam if one item is traded for something else of value.

It became a scam when you attempted to deceive people on the value of the item.

I see a forum ban incoming, Mr insult master. All the dude has to do is report you for calling him a child yet you respond like one. IRONY!

I get these things out of the Pie machines all the time. At most they never sell for more than 100-200 because everyone else knows better or has such high luck it doesn't matter anyways.

So easy.

https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=2088485758

..And that was back when my luck was like 6 or something.

If it's anything like how FO4's machines work, Pretty sure there'll be at least one machine in world too where the pie get rate is 100% or close to it.

They are correct. It si easy to obtain the pie without even using a vending machine.

Even when using the vending machine the code is made so eventually the pie drops the more times you try.

The pie is a lie. It is not nearly as rare as people think it is.
Monk Jun 18, 2020 @ 10:29am
Ive got a few hundred hours in game, luck is high 20's, maybe 31, I've yet to get one out of the machine, ever and I use them every time I come accross them, like op, I've never seen one for sale and I didn't actually know about the static spawn location.

Honestly, if I'd got one, I'd likely put it up for 10k as well as a damn joke, which, seems to be what the op was aiming for.

It's not a scam to overcharge people, as you know what you are buying so it's totally open and honest transaction and if someone wants to pay it, it is their choice to do so.

By some of your logic, if you find something for sale very cheap, you are scamming the seller by buying it, which, is again, bs.

Seriously, most of you seem to have no idea what a scam actually is, if he took the money and didn't give the pie, that would be a scam, selling it for a high price, is not.

Happens all the time. People only seem to notice the pie.

Things you can get for free people pay for:
1. Mentat Recipe
2. Ultracite Power Armor Plans (not the mods.)
3. Nuke Cola Paints.
4. Shielded Operative Underarmor plan
5. Many weapons plans.
6. Light combat armor plans.
7. Chemistry workbench.

And so on....

I'll break this down into 2 separate points for you.

1. "Now as it stands not many people have tasted this delicasy." - Thousands of players of got it, eaten it, and collected it.

2. "For a mere 10k caps this can be yours!" - The pie usually sells at player vendors for 200-400 caps as a novelty item, or can be obtained for free from the West Tek Research Center (repeatedly after cool down).

You're selling this like it's a super rare and difficult item to obtain & one that few players have managed to get a hold of. If you want 10k caps, go farm junk/craft ammo/farm legendary gear. You can make that easy.

Mentally challanged or something? I've never found this pie in any vending machine i've ever crossed of more then 200 hours.
It isn't a scam if one item is traded for something else of value. You might be 8 y/o so i'll explain in lamen terms.

If big spooky man tell you give me 1 hotdog i give you 2 but then he takes your hotdog and runs, you got scammed.

Let me know if you need me to explain it further.

You can get one from the roof of westek every server reset :D

scam/skam/noun/INFORMAL
noun: scam; plural noun: scams/ "a dishonest scheme; a fraud."

OP: "Now as it stands not many people have tasted this delicasy. For a mere 10k caps this can be yours!"

That's pretty much the definitation of a "dishonest scheme" :P

By your own words, what he has done usnt a scam, it is rare and I'd bet the vast majority of players haven't ever eaten it, a bit of showmanship and a high price is not a scam, if he claimed it had magical properties, it would be a scam, if he took the cash and delivered moldy pie, it would be a scam, if he took the cash and ran it would be theft, but what OP did, is not a scam and I found it amusing.

Also, I've looted a bloody explosive 90% WR Minigun and a bloody 40% swing speed 90% reduction supers ledge, which many regard as super rare and charge tens of thousands for, while I've never seen the pie, so by your logic, they aren't that hard to get so should be cheap and anyone selling them for alot is a scam artist.

Value is purely down to what people are willing to pay.

Oh and I've also got a BE 90% 50cal I only paid like 1200 caps for so did I scam the buyer?
