Thats one of the hardest to get most rare plans. It has a .02% drop rate from SBQ fights.

No. You can buy the mods or the plans from the vendor in Whitespring bunker.

That is because the loot table is polluted with @#$%ing jetpack plans. I get a @#$%ing jetpack plan 2 out of 3 times.

Not to mention the fact the loot table gives you plans for ultracite power armor that is given to you for free.

X01 are all easy to get from the Whitespring bunker. You simply need to save up your caps to buy them.

Whitespring Bunker has two vendors.
One in the production area.
One in the command center (General rank.)
Buying the shock mod is rare, the plans are always there.

Ya, there's a 'Production wing' with a MODUS vendor machine there. It took a while before I discovered that. It;s on the same level as the armory vendor

If you go in via the whitespring service entrance you end up in the production wing too :)

There are 4 vendors in total, science, where you buy serum plans, medical where you buy plans for stimpacks and chems, armory/military where you buy weapon plans and production where you buy the power armor plans.

WTF is a black market paywall?

The only power armor that uses the Ultracite shocks is Ultracite and Strangler armor. Both of which are a waste of time.

A black market paywall is going on ebay and paying actual money for the plans. Nothing is a waste of time if someone wants to use the power armor.Even the t65 is easy to get and that PA is better

So in other words it is some brahminshit you made up.

The fact that I went to the to F76 Market Discord and traded for Ultracite Calibrated Shocks, and then my friend did it after shows it aint "locked" behind the "black market paywall" of having to pay real money for them. The both of us traded a Blue Ridge Caravan Backpack Plan for them. Personally I think we got the better deal because the drop rate is much higher on the backpack plan.

Never mind the fact that if someone wants Ultracite Calibrated Shocks on the Ultracite Power Armor they can trade the legs to another another player to mod or buy the legs with the mods in them.

I've heard it's bugged and they haven't been dropping for awhile.

At any rate, someone around here put me in touch with someone who had the recipe and put the shocks on my ultracite legs just for the flux it would cost. So unless you need the recipe for some reason, it might just be easier to ask if someone can do it for you.

Edit: Just to be clear someone told me the plans were bugged and weren't dropping. I don't know if that's really the case or they just have some super low drop rate like 1 in a 100. I know I've done the SBQ a couple dozen times or so and have never seen them.

As I mentioned in the other thread about PA, going past 200 SBQ and I have never seen emergency protocols or calibrated shocks. I'm sure there are others I have never had drop but these two are the two I wanted so I have paid more attention to.

Jetpacks, jetpacks and more jetpacks is all I get. This RNG nonsense is the reason I gave up on ultracite PA and have been using X-01 for many months now and not regretting it for a moment. Put the mods on that I wanted the same day I crafted it.
