Trade item for item

I was wondering if this is posibble, trading an item for item instead of caps. I have a couple of weapons valued over 40k caps and cant trade for caps clearly.

Well that surely is out of the question, there is no trade system where you give an item for another?

The idea that something has a value above the caps limit is kind of laughable.

i do believe there are 3rd party websites out there that will allow the safe trade of items. or maybe i am wrong and it is still item for caps.

What would you value a Bloody deathclaw gauntlet +1 STR +40% attack speed at? Not saying that's what i have (i wish) but that would be valued well above cap limit.

No idea, but no where near 40k, what would you value my bloody explosive 90% weight reduction 50cal and Minigun at or my bloody 40% ss 90% weight reduction supers ledge at?

As I only paid a couple thousand.
(looted one, bought one was given one - a long time ago)

So I wouldn't value any weapon much over 5k to 10k

Well personally that won't go with my build but if i were building a heavy gunner i woul take that off your hands for 15-25k caps. That is endgame weapon so you won't be getting much better. (Not counting the gauss minigun)

Check market76 on reddit, if you have a very good weapon and want something else for it you can trade it there. They also have karma system so you can see who is trusty or not. Also if someone scam someone there they get black listed.

Think it goes for 25k+ on market76, seen players looking for that weapon and are willing to pay 25k for it. But they didn't get any respons. Either no one sold it, or they think it was too little caps for it.

Also say 39200 - 75600 caps on FED76, but some prices on the site are wrong, specially on the pvp weapons.

Its the best melee weapon in game, but most players aren't looking for the best melee weapon. So it might be hard to sell, also most veteran players use unstoppable force, that weapon is not the best melee weapon but its one of the best from a challenge from survivor mode back in the day.
