Where can I find an albino mirelurk hunter?

I'm trying to get all the photos in the photo challenge. I just have 1 more to go and it's to photograph an albino mirelurk hunter. I know of 2 reliable mirelurk hunter spawn locations: Lake Reynolds and the lake around Pioneer Scout Camp. When I go to these locations the mirelurk hunters are either regular or diseased, none albino. I'm wondering do albino creatures spawn in a different area of the map? Or do they spawn everywhere but just randomly?

Albinos are a rare spawn.

The best you can do is what you are doing constantly checking the mirelurk hunter spawns.

I just deleted my old photos the other day, could have looked to see where I found mine.

Most of the creatures I'm seeing spawn as albinos are on the right of the map, some at the center but more to the right. Are you sure an albino can even spawn where I'm looking? Because where I'm looking is not to the right of the map and I don't see any other variant except regular and diseased.

Well albinos can only replace existing mob spawns.

The problem is I can barely think of anywhere that spawns hunters, mirelurks and kings, sure, hunters, not so sure on.

I am thinking some of the areas in the Cranberry Bog, like the bunker way out east overlooking the water, the park area out east with the queen, and maybe some of the rotating spawn locations. That static locations like Sunset Farms, Spruce Knob, etc have only mirelurk and mirelurk kings.

Did you try changing servers? This usually help spawning.

Well it depends if you are farming static encounters or random encounters.

If you are farming static encounters then you respawn rate is like once every 45-60 minutes. Changing servers (or leaving for 5 minutes and coming back to a private) will cause a respawn.

If it is a random encounter you can get a new spawn about every 5-10 minutes.

Yeah I've changed servers and that's not a problem at all. It's just that the mirelurk hunters don't seem to be spawning as albinos in the 2 areas I'm searching (Lake Reynolds and the lake around Pioneer Scout Camp). That's why I'm wondering if the albino versions only spawn in certain areas of the map, like on the right or center of the map. Because in those 2 locations they are only spawning as regular or diseased, there is no other variant.

Trying checking with Google and I found out that mirelurk hunters can spawn during workshop defence at "Hemlock Holes maintenance".

@Bored Peon, yeah I just mentioned the server change as someone mentioned it at "reddit".

@Outlier, I am not sure if you will have better chance in a freshly server with few players or if you have a friend who has a private server to check there.

Yeah I was just explaining why you would or would not server hop when farming certain mobs or mob.

I want to say you are wasting your time hunting an albino at the Pioneer Camp because the level is too low. However I had a Albino Radstag show up in this herd.

There was at least 20 radstags in that herd. Of course it just happened to be the day Thrill of the Griil was not the daily.

I just wanted to update the thread and say that I finally found the albino mirelurk hunter. It was located at The Freak Show. Like many things in this game, you'll find them when you're not looking for them. So I managed to take a picture of every single creature in the photo challenge. You only need to take a picture of 76 of the creatures listed but I managed to get every single one of them. I wish there was a bonus for that!

A lot of the passive creatures tend to spawn just next to the bridge leading to Wayward for those who are trying to find rabbits/possums/beavers/foxes/cats/frogs easily for the photo challenge. I heard a lot of people were having trouble finding the foxes, Beavers bunnies and frogs particularly.
