My Fasnacht collectron isn't bringing me anything

Does the collectrons only search inside the camp area? Cause if that's the case, I figure they're pretty useless. It's not like I can place camp next to buildings. Or am I being too dumb and don't know where to look for the stuff it brings?

Once you put a collectron down, go to the terminal on the station to decide what it brings back. After X amount of time, the storage container on the back of the station will have items in it.

If this is your first collectron, you won't be able to choose what it is able to collect on the terminal.

For now, the fasnacht collectron mostly collects candy, beer and food.

Don't forget to LOCK your colectron's container or just anyone can come grab its content.

There's a hatch on the back of the collectron terminal where your stuff is collected.

Anyone can just Pick it though... Most people have Picklock Perk Cards
Just saying so people don't think the game glitched or something, when they come back and everything is gone...

Just saying so people don't think the game glitched or something, when they come back and everything is gone...

Picking a lock makes you wanted, which removes people's camps from your map and makes you have a bounty on your head. Not sure I'd wanna do that for a few sugar bombs.

Go into EDIT, Not BUILD mode and look at the hatch. Should be a prompt to lock it, Usually F.

Thanks, I didn't know that there was a response/negative now to getting Lockpicked - that's great, actually, I wasn't locking anything in my Workshops because I figured there's no point

Although I guess they could just Fast Travel to their own CAMP, dump all their Junk and take off their Armour in case it gets damaged (or whatever happens when you get killed) and they lose nothing if they die then, no? I thought they only drop their Junk they have if they get killed...

You lose 50 caps when you get killed or possibly more? Depending on your bounty. You also get hunted down which impedes your progress because you wanted a few baubles from someone's collectron or workshop =P. Not something I'd say is worth it. I think you also flag your camp for PvP (Not sure on this) because you're red when wanted.

I just locked everything in my camp, including water purifiers, terminal and doors. Lol
