They removed legendary effects from the Radical Face Mask because it wasn't intended to have one.

Yeah, you can't really swing the 'It wasn't intended to have one effect" when Energy weapons weren't intended to have explosive, but they let everyone keep legacy explosive energy guns lol.

Month's of those existing, and changing them would have drastically destroyed people's weapons, versus an item that existed for a few weeks at most, and was a miniscule addition to a build.

Big difference between the two.

Your free to disagree. Although facts are facts for a reason.

Fact - the masks were only in the game for a short period of time before being fixed AND they announced change a while before they actually did it.

Fact - Energy weapons with the bugged effects were in the game for far longer then the masks

Fact - Having your weapon nerfed to lose a legendary effect would be far more detrimental then losing a single armor piece (out of 6) and losing 1 effect.

Fact - The principle is the same, it's unequal application of a rule. No other facts matter.

I'd disagree, if you can fix bugs without it negatively effecting your users severely you should. No software company in the world would not fix bugs going forward because past bugs caused some issues that couldn't be fully mitigated.

That's like your doctor telling you that he won't treat you and will let you die instead of fixing your issue, because you had problems in the past.....
