You can only revive people on your team?

I did a couple events the past few days with a bunch of solo players working together, but not on the same team (not invited/joined). In these events, a few players died, and I ran over to revive, but never get any option to revive them.

Is it supposed to be like that? Seems strange you wouldn't be able to revive someone just because you weren't on a team together.

you should be able to revive them with a stimpack. i revived a random player during exploration and got myself revived in an event yesterday. it is possible they pressed the give up button before you can come over

You can revive anyone regardless of team affiliation. But, they have to request help. When someone goes down partially dead, they are given the option to request help or give up. If they request help, the “help me” emote flashes on them. You have so many seconds to get there and stimpak them.

If they did not request help, or were too dead. No chance to help.

I dont think the Help emote is needed to revive Anybody its only a visible HELP !!! Emote.
You could be to late to revive them,you got only 30 seconds or you dont got Stimpacks in your Inventory,Diluted Stimpacks dont work and i dont know if Super Stims work.

It's not a help emote, it's asking for help while you are lying on the ground dying. It triggers the help emote.

Any stimpack work. Healign salves work too. And you can revive anyone its not limited to teams and whatnot

you can 100% Revive other players provided they dont give up before you get there and you have a stimpack to use

Sometimes the option just doesn't show up, you just straight up die sometimes.

It depends on whether you are truly dead or just mostly dead.

mostly the players give up before you can heal them up again.
